Last night, Alan and I went out for dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant.
It wasn’t long before we were settled with Cobra beer and puppadoms.
We were talking about this and that, but I was distracted by something that kept catching my vision, over to the left of me.
I kept trying to see what it was, but when I moved my head, it moved.
It bugged me for a little while, then I realised what it was.
I could see my hair out of the corner of my eye.
For the first time in 20 months it was long enough to edge into my field of vision.
I’d forgotten that that could even happen.
Which just goes to show that if you wait long enough, it all comes right somehow.
